Hurricane Dolly Update 2
Today things have gotten much more active for hurricane preparations. Since my last post the Rio Grande
Valley has fallen under hurricane warnings, the cities are offering sandbags, more people are boarding their windows, and companies are announcing closure plans.
Currently, my wife is reporting increased winds and some light rain at our home in Brownsville, TX but at work in Matamoros, Mexico the wind is much calmer. In the next couple hours my staff will begin a flurry of activity to protect our technology investment, the operations staff will start there exercises and we will close operations until the storm passes. I anticipate my staff will complete their exercises around 9pm and our facilities will be completely empty by 11pm. More updates to follow as well as some photographs as actives continue. Assuming I don’t lose power and both my primary and back-up internet service I intend to provide updates throughout the storm, especially as it gathers this evening.
